Michaelmas Farm is
a working farm and learning center in rural Ashby, Massachusetts. Our mission is to be a center for social
and cultural renewal, integrating agriculture education, the arts, and community life. We offer programs for adults,
children, and families, drawing upon the contributions of Rudolf Steiner, and his invaluable insights into
human development and social forms as the primary inspiration for our work. Michaelmas Farm is also home to other initiatives,
including Philomelus, and also Waldorf Family Network, which serve homeschooling families and others working
with the principles and practices of Waldorf education.
